This week, the Wildlife Institute of India hosted its Annual Research Seminar. Research scholars and students of the institute presented their research from the last year to several dozen Forest Department officials who attended the event. The forum is designed to provide WII researchers with an opportunity to present management recommendations based on their work.
I presented my research on the pheasants of the Western Himalayas in a 20 minute power point presentation show that conveyed my study design, results and recommendations for future conservation efforts. If you'd like to learn more about my study, my presentation is available for download under the "publications" section of my blog (right-hand column). Here are a few photos of me presenting.
